Here is a pretty typical day for me!
I follow a low to moderate carb diet, full of whole, real foods, and I stick to my rule of thumb of #1starchPerDay and my “formula” for lunches & dinners. Here’s a list of benefits of a low carb approach!
Ok so here’s what I eat in a day as a nutritionist!
I need about 1800 ish calories to maintain my weight. I haven’t calculated this day’s exact calories, but I’d guess it’s close to 1800 if not a little more than that.
9:00am – Oatmeal wheat germ cookie
2:09pm – Caprese salad with cherry tomatoes, mini mozzarella balls, balsamic vinaigrette, salt, basil and oregano
5:09pm- Trader Joe’s buffalo chicken dip and carrots
7:16pm- Trader Joe’s spinach and artichoke dip, celery, carrots
