Hiking Snacks
Serious hiking calls for serious snacks.
But non-serious hiking (like the kind of hiking that I do 😉) just call for delicious, non-perishable, energizing snacks! Here’s what I recommend:
Jerky
Turkey, beef, salmon! I love this kind the most, but this kind is available at most stores!
Nuts
Salted kinds are actually good for hiking since we lose sodium when we sweat. Peanuts are the cheapest nut – so those are great to stick to! Here are some great single-serving packets
Water bottle
Make sure you fill a big (or 2) water bottle before you go! I love these narrow mouth ones – and they’re only $10!
